How to use O-Biz Connect

O-Biz Connect works in your phone's browser. Nothing to download from the Play Store.

1. 1Open Chrome (or any browser) and type obizconnect.org.
2. 2To keep it like an app, tap the browser menu and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
3. 3Next time, just tap the O-Biz icon on your home screen.

Tip: Works on any smartphone, tablet or computer.

Every screen can be shown in English or Malayalam.

1. 1Look for the English / മലയാളം button at the top of the page.
2. 2Tap മലയാളം. The page changes to Malayalam straight away.
3. 3Your choice is remembered on that phone. Tap English to switch back.

Tip: Business names and the details people type stay as they were written.

Every business on O-Biz Connect has been checked by the O-Biz team.

1. 1Tap Marketplace, or type what you need in the search box: "water", "pharmacy", "electrician" or a shop's name.
2. 2Spelling mistakes are fine. The search understands what you mean.
3. 3Narrow the list by category, by type (Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturer) or by area.
4. 4Tap a business card to open its page.

Tip: You can type a place name, like "Pampady", in the search box too.

You need to sign in to see phone numbers and to contact businesses.

1. 1Tap Sign in at the top of the page.
2. 2Type your 10-digit mobile number and tap Continue.
3. 3Listed businesses: use the number you gave O-Biz. You go straight to your dashboard.
4. 4New here? Type your name once. You get a free account to browse, enquire and reply to opportunities.

Tip: Only the O-Biz team can list a business. To get listed, contact us on WhatsApp.

Each business page shows what they sell, where they work and how to reach them.

1. 1Open the business page from the Marketplace.
2. 2Tap the mobile or WhatsApp number to call or chat.
3. 3Or write what you need under "Contact" and tap Send enquiry. It goes to their O-Biz inbox.
4. 4Business members can also give a lead: tell them about someone who needs what they sell.

Tip: Say what you need, how much, and by when. You will get a faster, better reply.

A notice board for jobs, partnerships and requirements.

1. 1Tap Opportunities in the menu.
2. 2Use the tabs to see Requirements, Jobs or Partnerships.
3. 3To respond, tap Call or WhatsApp on a post.
4. 4Business members can tap "Post a requirement" to add their own.

Tip: Read the "Staying safe" note before paying anyone you meet through a post.

See O-Biz events and meetings and tell the team if you are coming.

1. 1Tap Events in the menu, or Events at the top of the website.
2. 2Open an event to see the date, venue and full programme.
3. 3Tap Going, Maybe or Can't come. You can change it later.
4. 4Not signed in? Fill in your name and mobile on the event page.

Tip: Your reply helps the team plan seats and tea.

After you sign in, Home shows what needs your attention today.

1. 1"Needs you today" lists new enquiries, overdue bills, low stock and events to reply to.
2. 2Use the quick buttons: Quick bill, New invoice, Add customer, Post opportunity, Ask an AI helper.
3. 3Your plan and all your businesses are shown on the right (below on a phone).

Tip: On a phone, tap the ☰ menu at the top left to see every section.

Everything is grouped in four parts so it is easy to find.

1. 1Network: Home, Marketplace, My listings, Enquiries & leads, Opportunities, Events, Refer & earn.
2. 2My business: Quick bill, Invoices & quotes, Collect dues, Customers, Items & stock, Purchases & expenses, Offers & deals, Reports & GST.
3. 3Grow: Get featured, AI helpers, Marketing.
4. 4Account: Plan & billing, Staff logins, Settings.

Tip: Admins also see an Admin button to open the admin portal.

A complete listing with photos brings more enquiries.

1. 1Tap My listings.
2. 2Fill in About us, Products / services, Service area, Working hours and Who you sell to.
3. 3Add up to 6 photos of your products or work (1.5 MB each).
4. 4Run more than one business? Tap "+ Add another business". Each one gets its own card.

Tip: The progress bar shows what is still missing.

Enquiries from customers and leads from other members arrive in one inbox.

1. 1Tap Enquiries & leads.
2. 2Use the tabs: All, Enquiries, Leads from members.
3. 3Open one and tap Reply on WhatsApp, or "Add as customer & make a quote".
4. 4Tap Done or Mark followed up when it is handled.

Tip: On the Business plan, "Draft a reply" writes the reply for you to check.

Your bills and accounts are private, so O-Biz checks it is really you first.

1. 1Tap any item under My business, for example Quick bill.
2. 2Tap "Email me a code". A 6-digit code is sent to your email.
3. 3Type the code and keep "Remember this device for 30 days" ticked.
4. 4Tap "Confirm and open my software".

Tip: No email on your account? WhatsApp the team on +91 98470 50611 for a code.

For counter sales: amount, how it was paid, done.

1. 1Tap Quick bill (or + New at the top).
2. 2Type the amount and, if you like, what was sold.
3. 3Add the customer's name and mobile to send the bill on WhatsApp.
4. 4Choose Paid cash, Paid UPI or Pay later, then tap "Save and share".

Tip: "Pay later" bills show up in Collect dues so you never forget them.

Proper GST invoices and quotations, ready to share.

1. 1Tap Invoices & quotes, then New invoice or New quotation.
2. 2Pick a saved customer, or type a new one. To bill another O-Biz member, search their business name.
3. 3Add the items, quantity and price. GST is worked out for you.
4. 4Save, then share the link on WhatsApp. Your customer can pay by UPI from it.

Tip: Invoices to other O-Biz members appear in their Purchases too.

See who owes you and remind them politely.

1. 1Tap Collect dues.
2. 2See To collect and Overdue at the top, and the list of customers below.
3. 3Tap "Remind on WhatsApp". A polite message with a UPI pay link opens. Tap send.
4. 4When they pay, record it, or confirm it if they marked it paid on O-Biz.

Tip: On the Business plan, the Dues Reminder helper drafts all reminders at once.

Keep your products, stock and spending in one place.

1. 1Items & stock: tap "+ Add an item" with its price and GST. Stock goes down by itself when you invoice it.
2. 2Purchases & expenses: add what you buy and what you spend. Bills sent to you by other members appear here.
3. 3Offers & deals: add a listing offer, a member price, or start a group deal.

Tip: The Catalogue Assistant can write a product description and suggest the HSN code and GST rate.

Your month in numbers, and the GST file for your accountant.

1. 1Tap Reports & GST to see sales, money received, expenses and top customers.
2. 2Tap "Download CSV for your accountant" if they need the details.
3. 3Open the GST filing tab, pick the month and download the GSTR-1 file.
4. 4On the GST filing page, add your CA's email and switch on the monthly email. It goes on the 3rd of every month.

Tip: GSTR-1 download and the CA email are part of Pro and Business.

Six helpers that do the writing. They draft, you decide. Nothing is sent without you.

1. 1Tap AI helpers.
2. 2Choose a helper: Marketing Writer, Dues Reminder, Catalogue Assistant, Business Insights, Enquiry Replier or Opportunity Matcher.
3. 3Fill in the short form and pick English, Malayalam or both.
4. 4Read the result, change it if you like, then copy it or open it in WhatsApp.

Tip: AI helpers are included in the Business plan. Each can run 30 times a day.

2. 2Tap Plan & billing, choose the plan and 1, 3 or 12 months (3 months is 10% off, 12 months has 2 months free).
3. 3Pay from any UPI app to the O-Biz UPI ID or QR shown on the screen.
4. 4Type the 12-digit UTR number from your UPI app and tap "I have paid". The team confirms it, usually within a day.

Tip: If you stop paying you go back to Free. Your bills and data stay.

4. 4Pay by UPI, type the UTR and tap "Book and I have paid". It goes live on the start date after the team confirms.

4. 4Remove a staff login any time.
